Eventually we picked out ten outstanding costumes, each judge picking their two favoured costumes. After heading into City Hall to judge the ten, we ended up with around twenty heroes standing infront of us. Deciding that it would be best to go somewhere quieter, we opted for the hospital rooftop, each of the heroes were transported there to finally be judged. |
| I decided to have a good laugh with the final ten. Four of them would win something, so I decided to pick five of them to continue on, hey, all in the name of fun! The final five were: Chance, Feirce Natz, Silent Edge, Heretic and Electra Girl. After alot of grief and teasing by me Electra Girl walked home empty handed and Chance left with the top prize of two million. All in all I had fun and I'm sure the finalists had fun. I intend to do it again in the near future, too. |

| After the event Justin managed to have a
few words with Hobojack and put the following questions
to him: JT) Quite a few people told me that it could have been better advertised ie like QuickBlades Dance Club in UK CoH site; your thoughts on this HJ) I think Quickblade's paragon dance night was posted on the main site because he sent a private message to Bridger asking him too, I didn't really want to do this, though as Bridger already gave me a sticky. Perhaps I will ask him after a while, I do intend to do these every second week, so people have a dance party one friday, then a costume competition the next and so forth. |
JT) As regards the chaotic first
round,would it have been better to have had smaller heats
else where ie Galaxy City, Kings Row etc and would a
different venue have helped against hecklers etc ie
Paragon dance Studio ? Again your thoughts on this. HJ) Very interesting idea. On my way from Talos island I did broadcast about the contest in each zone I passed through, but I was running slightly late and didn't have time to go through some zones. Your idea of heats in different zones is a good one, but perhaps not very practical. It would probably take much longer and to be honest they're long enough already, it does take quite a while. Having the final at Paragon Nights has crossed my mind before however, but it requires going through zones and the lighting in the Dance Party isn't very desireable. |
